Athena CTF 2026 was a 24-hour online jeopardy-style CTF organized by AstraQ Cyber Defence and hosted entirely on the Athena platform - the same product our customers use to run their own events.

How it ran
Registration, team formation, isolated per-challenge player environments, live scoring with first-blood tracking, and fair-play detection all ran on Athena for the full 24 hours. Challenges were released in waves across six domains, giving both first-time solo players and experienced teams a difficulty curve to climb.
Results
Over 1000 participants competed across 500+ teams from 13+ countries, with the platform holding steady through a full day of simultaneous registration, deployment, and scoring load.
